At this point in my career, I've been able to win auditions to play with ensembles like San Francisco Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra, and personal heroes of mine like Jacob Collier.
But it wasn't always like that. I'm a 7-time music school reject! In addition to high range, which held me back many years (hence my creation of High Range Magic), I struggled to make a beautiful sound on the horn.
Working with horn players around the world, I've
seen a few common problems around sound & tone production.
But up until now, there's no clear "curriculum" for developing one's tone (and confidence) in a short
amount of time. I'm building that now - creating a systematic, time-saving approach with other great
pedagogues.
